Data Transfer from SAP2000 to Tekla Structures
- Changed sections may be imported from SAP2000 to TS, changes may then be accepted individually in TS
- Results to be inserted to TS analysis results database:
- Member end forces and intermediate forces for all load cases
- Member displacements for all load cases
- Steel design utility ratio
- Concrete/beam design results, calculated reinforcement areas
- Model may be started in SAP2000 or in Tekla Structures
Model Merging in Tekla Structures
- If model merging is enabled, changes of Tekla Structures (analysis) model may be merged to an already existing SAP2000 model
- This allows for multiple "round tripping" of data exchanges
- Only makes updates to changes, will not recreate SAP2000 model on every data exchange
